Pokerchipmania has wonderful customer service and they have a nice variety of chips, majority of which are mid tier and home purpose poker chips. I see many forums asking if they are legit, mainly because the kiddos these days think websites that are too simple/straightforward are sketch. Understandable but yes these guys are legit and a great resource for entry/intermediate poker players looking to set up home games!

Legit? I'd call it misleading...

Yeah, I really wish sites would just call those what they are. They are fine chips for your average casual poker players. But they have nothing at all to do with clay and are not at all like what can legitimately be called a clay chip.

This must be such a hard business to make money in. How many people are honestly buying baccarat and blackjack supplies in the mid/low end price range.

If I had the space and desire to do a bacca and or blackjack setup I would buy used casino goods.

Hey man I dont work for them, they just provided good customer service to me and wanted to just leave a post here. IF anyone who is new to poker and wants to do poker nights with friends and family this site has a nice selection of Nexgen pro classics which i recommend as starter chips. I had a good experience with them.

I don't think anyone is jumping on you, but those kinds of claims that they make are simply lies, and you won't see them get any love from a bunch of chip enthusiasts.

Yes the chips are priced well for a fledgling home game, but you can get the same chips and prices from apachepokerchips.com without the pantently misleading descriptions.

welcome! I purchased from pokerchipmania and majestics from apache before finding this site. Nothing wrong with mania but Apache gets my money now (and the classifieds).
But mostly the classifieds amirite? :ROFLMAO:

I had a similar experience with a friend. He was so proud of his new chips, he turned his housewarming into a poker game.

I felt like a failure. Still, I didn't want to be the rain on his parade, so I said nothing (even though I had a travel set of chips in my car).

Yeah hate when sites have product listed that hasn’t been in stock for 10 years. Maybe clean the site up once in awhile, just saying

I placed an order for a 600 pc Milano cash game set. I recieved shipping confirmation the same day and the order arrived in just two days. Unfortunately the chips were of random denominations nowhere close to what I had ordered. I've sent two emails and a request via thier website with no response. I guess I'll call Amex on Monday to dispute the charge.

Sorry you got a bad transaction. For Milanos, go with @Apache .

I finally heard back and have received the corrected chips denoms I originally ordered and an RMA to return the 400 incorrect denominations (darn). They have decent prices and bundles (they did send chip racks with my Milano order but they are not the correct width and are a sloppy fit). Conversely I have asked the folks at @Apache a couple of questions and received a reply inside an hour - they got two new orders from me as a result.

I learned the same lesson some years ago.

Find where the connoisseurs buy their stuff, then shop there. Chips, wine, cigars... whatever. People in the know, know (by definition).

Their prices might be beat elsewhere, but not by a lot. The vendors that are a part of a community have a vested interest to keep people happy. And trust me, this group is loyal only as long as the vendor is solid. If you start making bad deals, this group will turn more vicious than a pack of hungry wolves with bees glued to their butts.

I’m looking to purchase a set of 600 scroll chips.
Does anybody here have any advice positive or negative.
Home games first set purchase for me .
