Im heading to New Orleans in February so Im checking bravo app for games at the times I'm planning on playing but I have no idea what this format is. What is lets say, 4-8 Half and Half? Is it a variant of a Kill pot?

Probably just means half-kill. I see weird stuff on Bravo from time to time but usually they mean something conventional.

Correct. One round hold'em. One round Omaha (high only). They run this pretty often, even at request if there's enough interested. Usually it's $4-8, but I seem to remember playing a weird $4-8-12-12 format once.
