With Covid and home games, these were put on hold until recently. In the 2 years, I had time to reflect on what worked, and didn't so well in my home games.
I got busy, and replaced the ceiling, built an overhead clock/Light to go with the NHL hockey custom felt. I redid the raised rail, and installed solid FCOB LED, with a plexi suit diffuser which sits under the rail. The racetrack with drink holders remained basically untouched, as those worked quite well. My table is only 6 ft long, so the space is limited to a max of 8 players. New Leatherette Dining room chairs were added for comfort. One bone of contention was that there wasn't enough room around the table to add table trays for the snacks. I decided to build holders, with sliders, attached under the table to hold a standard paper bowl, or tupperware bowls. Other items added in the room was a peanut machine, a bar with tabletop ice maker, and inset the mini fridge into the wall. Luckily, the small utility room sits behind the fridge, and houses the fuse panel and electronic and Wifi equipment.
I had my first game on Saturday, and it worked out real well. The guys really liked having the trays so the bowls could be kept off the table top. The night was a success.
Here are some pics of the changes.

Holy crap that clock/light above the table is cool. Brilliant idea!

(Man, makes me think someone could have a really cool business making/selling replica overheads clocks/scoreboards from various arenas.)
I tried to find a company that made a replica jumbotron for sports arenas, and did find one that made replicas, but it was only 3D renderings and not actual physical models as such. The renderings are used for video games, and computer graphics.
Since I couldn't find anything close to what I had in mind, I made my own out of a plastic planter. It includes 4 digital LED clocks powered by 12 volts DC, including the advertising lit banners.

X2, I'm not even a big hockey fan and that's pretty damn cool. You should add one of those red lights that automatically goes off when your team scores!

@JMC9389 cool idea for consideration for the basement.....

That's a sweet setup! Curious on the chips, do you have a closer shot of them? A fun idea if they aren't already could be them as hockey pucks.

Thanks. The chips are just cheap 4 Ace Casino chips, but having chips that look like pucks might just be something for the future. If you expand the poker table you can see them better. I have them as 1-2-5-25 denominations. Blinds are 1 & 2. I turned the 10 chips into 2 by adding a decal over the 10.

Wow that’s awesome. I’m a devils fan in flyers country so it might not be accepted at my home game if I had a setup like this lol
Lol...I make sure that more Hab fans are at my games than the other NHL fans. Those Leaf fans are starting to get hard on the nerves
Seeing that the Habs are holding down last place. In this part of the country, one is either a Montreal, Toronto or Boston hockey fan.
Let's see, my Saturday game had 3 MTL fans, 2 Leaf fans, 2 Bruin fans and one neutral. It's always good fun teasing each other.

WOW! I am just seeing this. This is crazy to me, because I have had what I have considered to be two very over the top obsessions for my poker setup 1) Fancy cupholders, and 2) A hanging scoreboard like light and tablet combo that would display tournament director on it. Unbelievable!

Two questions. 1) I know your slide outs are snack holders, but have you considered retrofitting them with drink holders to get drinks off the table surface? 2) At the top of your scoreboard, are those tablets/LCDs, or is the Canadiens logo, just a print?

It all looks fantastic, well done!

Thanks. Sorry it took so long to reply. Answer to #1- I have considered adding cup holders with the snack slide outs. 1) It would make more room on the racetrack for chips and it would keep all drinks/snacks off the table. To do this, I would have to add a foot to the lenght of the table, to give just a bit more room between players, thus I would need to order a new custom felt to fit the 7ft table. You have me thinking this as my next table update.
Answer to #2 - Those are one piece prints from a custom made poster, the Canadiens Logo area is framed with high density foam. It would be possible to add a small tablet in the place of the logo area to display the tournament director on it. Just a matter of cutting out the area required and fittin the tablet in and attaching it inside the clock scoreboard, as I did on a smaller scale with the LED clocks all around. We only play cash games, so I don't use a tournament director app.
