I guess most of you guys are from the United States but I hope there’s a bunch of european chippers in this community.

It can get pretty expensive to order chips from the States. Just to give an idea, I can get a set of Apache Casino Royale for $80 but the shipping will cost me $90. And I would still have to pay a tax to pick them up.

So, can anyone recommend some poker shops in Europe?

Thanks!

A fellow Swede, welcome! Where are you from? I'm from Umeå myself.

What kind of chips are you looking for? There are not a whole lot of shops offering anything good to be honest. Ordering ceramics is actually less expensive to go direct to the source, like ordering from sun-fly. One of the vendor here at pcf just got some majestics if you're looking for China clays. For paulsons your best bet is to post in the classifieds once you're eligble.

Here are some links.

A vendor here. Just started to stock majestics China clays and also has some other pretty nice looking chips and also some Msk plaques.

Danish site. Nothing special really, but got some sun-flys like asconas and a decent variety in cards. Fourniers are awesome.

Välkommen! Where in Sweden do you live? Just wait, spend some time here and read up on chips and you’ll not be looking to buy $80-chips anymore :).

Actually I’m not swedish. But I have been living in Sweden (Roslagen) since 2018. And let me say you have an amazing country!

As to your question, I will probably go for the Poker Knights or the The Mint — thank you for the links! The german shop has good options.

They have Majestic and Milano and I would prefer those but the price is just too high. You see, I have a set of 400 ASM that I use for cash-games and now I’m looking for a tournament set. Unfortunately, I cannot spend that much money on poker chips again. I have even considered the Monte Carlo (I know, I know, composite chips are a heresy here ).

These are the ones I mentioned:

It’s a swedish shop so the shipping is very cheap.

It’s not a matter of a taste, it’s a matter of money, unfortunately :banghead:

If I could afford it I would definitely go for american clay.

cartes-production.com if you need some Monte Carlo style chips. For their ceramic, most of their series is missing some denom (out of stock).

They have also felt, cards, ...

I bought one of my first sets there and still order cards and other accessoires there. They are very serious.

bump.

any reasonable european suppliers these days? hard to find any good online store and probably like 90% of PCF users are from Americas, selling only CONUS usually. Shipping cost from US shops is also high, so it's hard to find good deals.

seems like the only chance to find something decent is just to get lucky on Classifieds one day ;d

I can recommend the already mentioned www.pokershop.dk
The service is good, and you can call Ib and get a deal
The send the stuff right away, and use GLS

Their stuff is not among the High end, but decent, and ok to begin with
I use the Ascona for tournaments

Not much of a choice then I guess ;D will try to snipe something on Clasifieds, lurking on forum everyday. + maybe there will some some BF sales on PCF aswell. If I won't find anything, probably will decide on CPC Rounders

Do you know if they are still open? I contacted them but they never responded.

Hey, blast from the past! Still in roslagen? I live outside of Åkersberga now and would love to add people to my game, especially fellow chippers of course
