Though in my small amount of experience hosting over the past 6 months, my group has never noticed the chips, but they have noticed the table and especially the chairs.Lol misleading when using my phone to c the pic
Your chair and table does shine out a lot, I will most prob be more impress with those tooThough in my small amount of experience hosting over the past 6 months, my group has never noticed the chips, but they have noticed the table and especially the chairs.
My advice from my experience, invest in a nice table and comfortable chairs first. Nice Chips to follow.
Classy! I love it.CPC’s. No inlays. Blanks.

Table and bar are great, but man those chairs are real standouts!
Definitely a cool ideaI’m still working on a dedicated poker room. But I’ve always thought a cool way to decorate a poker room would be a bunch of prints of poker scenes from tv shows throughout the years.
Think about how many shows have had either an episode about poker or just a poker game incidental to the episode.
A few, off the top of my head -
The Odd Couple
MASH
All in the family (I think?)
Cheers
Star Trek TNG
Sopranos
I bet there are literally dozens and dozens, though finding quality, printable images might be a problem. It could become a hobby in and of itself.
The Nice Table & Chairs Forum is right over there. Don't let the door hit you in the ass on the way out.Totally agree.
Nice table and chairs trumps chips every single time for me. I'd rather play with dice chips on a super nice table vs nice chips on a crappy table with uncomfortable chairs.
Haha...I have two separate groups that play. While I’m still getting all my crap together, my buddy has been hosting. He has a Barrington table in a small dedicated room. I have been bringing a used travel set of horseshoe Cincinnati chips for the last 3 months. Not one chipper there. I had one guy notice after about 2 months and ask are these really from a casino? Most people really don’t care about chips.Though in my small amount of experience hosting over the past 6 months, my group has never noticed the chips, but they have noticed the table and especially the chairs.

Cool idea. You could add literally every western/cowboy tv show.I’m still working on a dedicated poker room. But I’ve always thought a cool way to decorate a poker room would be a bunch of prints of poker scenes from tv shows throughout the years.

What makes mine pop (still under construction) is the t_chan felt and Michael Patton BCC table. It’s a jaw dropper... View attachment 663357
@TomC727, nice set up! Do you remember where you got those chairs? It's the last detail for my room. I'm in chicagoland too! Thanks!
