Ok UK folks, whats the best card room in London? Low stakes holdem. Would also appreciate tips on where to stay. Going in december. Would like to stay within walking distance from the cardroom.

For low stakes, any of the casinos in Soho like the Hippodrome are fine. The best legal card room in the city is the Grand Vic, in my opinion.

There are 4 main casinos to play at in London. Aspers, The Vic, Empire and The Hippodrome. 2 of these cardrooms are almost directly next door to each other in Leicester Square. Your best bet for a place to stay will be in the Leicester Square area simply due to the options you'll have around there.

I’m running 1-1, 1-2 and 2-5. Generally speaking the action is much better than you’ll find in the casinos because the games in London tend to be very reg heavy and they’re not invited to private games.
