I will be in Denver with some free time and I'm thinking about popping into Black Hawk for a hold em session or two.

Is it worth it? What's the best poker room over there?

To be clear, can a player contribute more than $100 to the pot over the course of the entire hand?

(e.g: $25 raise pre-flop + $75 bet on the flop, $100 bet on the turn, etc, etc.)

Yes. Raises in increments up to $100 are allowed. Player A could raise to $102 PF, only to be raised by Player B to $202. Action back to Player A who could raise to $302, etc. It does play a lot like NL, just a little slower.

I have played cash at Ameristar on a few occasions. The action is pretty lame in my experience, but I have only been there mid-afternoon on weekdays.

ahh bummer. My window is 1/19-22. That would've been cool though.
leaning sun noon tournament at golden gates for the true no limit.
according to the Bravo app right now the $200 deepstack got ~76 players...so that’s probably typical...
Just FYI
Have fun up there!
