Poker Hall Legends vol 2 - September 7-9, 2023 (1 Viewer)

I realized it’s 2 weeks before my wedding. I still plan on going haha. Fingers crossed.
Thanks for this...now my entry line with the wifey will be

Me -> Wow, some nutcase at PCF is attending Dan's meet-up only two week before his wedding, that's crazy no ?
She-> Yeah...uh?
Me -> Cool, since we are (still) not getting married, it's a given I will go too and i'll do DiD to
She -> Wait, what...who is DiD...and you are what ?
Me ->

Yeah...it's a lock

@Thomacetti you are just a sweet talker aren't you :sneaky:

I can bring the SpeakEC chips again if you'd like, or I'd be happy to play on any other set you want to use. Hopefully my final add-on will be completed then, and can comfortably host a 50 person event with 12/12/5/6/2 starting stacks.

Either way, I'll run the ME again, and let you have a stress-free tournament

With the excellent turnout this year, planning to fire this up again in 2023. Plenty more details to follow, but wanted to put out there so folks can plan their meetup calendars

Feel free to express interest and we can lock down a list of attendees when the logistics get settled
I'm In....thanks

YES....but please bring all of them this time!! ;)

Interested, work deadline is Sept and Oct 15th so usually extremely hard to get away near those dates

Oh oops I keep thinking it was a 46 lol
I keep track, the highest I have seen was a 45 by some dude with a beard against his brother @kirchhausen at this weird meet up in PA called "Poker Hall Legends 1" Rick had like a 41 in hand and nothing on the board... the dumb ass bearded dude drew to 10101096 the Rick dude got so red and upset I was afraid he was going to inflict violence! But this super attractive man named @Joe Harris who happend to be sitting between the two players squeaked out the tiniest of farts just at the right time and everyone exploded in laughter... you know the long high pitched toot! Luckily the luck box bearded dude pulled in his winnings quickly and the situation dissipated quickly.

For the record atleast 82% of that story was true!

Is this a game of what part of the story isn't true?

I'll go for the fart being tiny as the untrue part.

Everything but the fart unfortunately... although it would have been absolutely perfect.

Believe me, Rick and I have shared enough hands, he is a true gentleman and knows that if he wants it out he will get every red cent back plus interest from Donky Ben! BING BONG!!

It was funny because the first thing I heard @CraigT78 say all weekend was that he wanted to stack Chippy. Every time I glanced over at the big boy table his stack was even bigger than the last time I checked. I know all about getting stacked by his brother already from JIJ this past summer lol. Must run in the family.

As you recall I was there for that unfortunate hand of Scrotum brother and unfortunately you got smacked in the face by pot limit, not quite able enough to bet him off his monster draw that got there.

BUT I will say Rick is always an action seeker, he will give you the opportunity to win in back on another hand. Nothing you could do when you were dealt a boat brother.

Another day I may have fired that third bullet, but getting boated over boated twice in an hour made me need a break for a bit. General rule of thumb I have is that if I get stacked twice at the same table, I take a break and reassess and see if I'm still in the right state of mind to continue there. If not I change tables or take a beer break!

@MegaTon44 Any thoughts on putting together a tentative attendee list yet? I'm looking over my 2023 PTO plans today. I still have this penciled in. I mentioned it to Kelly (wife) last week and she sounded excited about traveling to the northeast in the fall. You do have fall colors by this time don't you?

Also, I will bring TIGERS! if I manage to snag a set! (looking at the smaller $0.25/050 set with add-ons)

Hey all, so sorry for the delay to getting back to this. Life has gotten in the way a bit and PCF has been on the back-burner.

With about 6 months to go to the meetup (which is realistically when folks begin planning), I'll start ramping up this thread. Please see below for a Google Form to fill out if you plan to attend.

Please hit me up with any questions. Thanks so much!

I would love a bed/air mattress/futon this time around if available, but at most am in only for Thursday and Friday cash games, and would leave to go back home Saturday morning. However, I would much rather beds/rooms go towards folks that are flying in and staying all three days (or more). I'm at this point about 99% in for Friday, but Thursday is more like 50 to 60% at this juncture. PTO and spouse permission slip for Thursday may be a problem, but I'm going to try to swing it. I should know better by May or June in regards to being able to have PTO or not in the first place.

Looking for a meetup run by a couple of tryhards? You've come to the right place my friend. Fill out the form in OP to reserve your slot.

Coming from far away and looking for a place to crash? PM me. Shouldn't be an issue to accommodate. Don't be lame. This is not a meetup to miss.

I just realized today that my son starts kindergarten at a new school the same week. I'm going to see what I can do as it may or may not change my plans.
