Has anyone here been able to use laminated labels from Poker Chips Designs (France) on RHC chips?

I'm getting sample labels sent to check them out first hand. I know the general word on the street is that only non-laminated labels can be used on RHC chips otherwise there is a chance of spinners. The chips are hand picked casino used...so they aren't minty new.

Does anyone have any experience with RHC Paulsons and Poker Chip Design/Empire Gaming Equipment chip labels?

Give it a try and report back to us. I just grabbed a handful of my Terribles $1's which are damn close to mint, and I was shocked at how little recess there is. I don't see it happening.
Strangely, some seem to have a hair more space than others, and it isn't condition related. Some chips one side clearly has a hair more depth than the other. Interesting - this is an incosistency I never noticed,

That is interesting. Alain-Pierre isn't sure the actual thickness difference in his labels so I guess I'll have to check a few out and see what happens. The laminated samples on his forum page look pretty thick.

I received samples of both non-laminated and laminated labels from Poker Chips Designs. As expected, the laminated labels are much thicker. I tried out a sample label on my hand picked (but used) Garden City $1 chips, and the laminated labels are even if not above the RHC inlay area. Even with stacking this one chip, I could tell that the label is the highest point. If the chips were mint, I think I could get away with laminated...but as expected, I think I have no choice but to go with non-laminated. Below shows the laminated label.
