Found these chips on Poker Chip Guide, these chips are beautiful and I was wondering if anyone knows where they're from and why they also seem to have pieces missing from it. Thanks!

Is there anything on the other side that might tell where it is from (or anything on the Chip Guide page you are seeing this on??). Your link only gies to the query page for the Chip Guide and not to this one specifically.

The typeface looks a bit like the one used by the Gold Coast:

... and it turns out this is listed on that page under manufacturer sample chips. Clearly this is something they were considering having made but never went beyond a prototype.


As for the notches, those are cut to cancel the chip and make the chip obviously not valid. This makes sense for a prototype.
