After acquiring a new set of chips, next came the matter of cases. I was torn between all the "made of poker" poker cases around, like the versa.

Though I decided that I wanted to use a Pelican case. Then I had to decide between all the different sizes and models.
The 1450, 1490, 1495, 1500, and 1520 were all contenders. In the end I think either one would've been fine, depending on your needs, i.e. how many chips, and other accessories like buttons, plaques, cards. With this case you could hold 800 chips, but with little to no room for anything else.

In the end I went with the 1495 and am satisfied with my choice. The strap makes is especially helpful for carrying.

HOWEVER, for chipracks that are 8x3 means that means when I wanted to place 6 racks side by side I had to ever so slightly cut out a bit past where the pick n pluck ends. Everything else was very easy.

Really enjoying my first real set of chips and their case :D
