I've started to really dislike 6's, ...
6 is a depressing card.. once you peek at a 6, it's like, crap, who cares what the other hole card is, even if it's another 6 ...
For some reason I'd rather have 5's, or 3's...

I always have trouble letting go of pocket 8s or higher but anything lower and I know that if I don't flop trips and there are two overs on the board, I can let them go.

I understand about them small pocket pairs though. Tough to let go sometimes.

One good thing so far overlooked re: pocket 6s is that the Dark Lord looks fondly upon those who win pots with his sacred number on both cards.

That's the sort of intangible you have to start to recognize to become a great player.

When I played last week, I twice made a set of 6's. How did I NOT think of Sam when this happened...? I'm obv going mad, cuz she's sooo hawt!!!

From now on, I will make a point to think of Sam Abernathy anytime I get a set of 6's. Binding! In fact, that needs to be HER hand, like 10-2 is the Brunson...

Well, she did go from like 14th place to 3rd I think? Cashed like 600k, not a bad turn of events. Ya, technically the hand was a dog, but cosmic karma spoke up during that hand. You have to admit, that DB made it into a spectacle with his pre and post all-in antics.

Just seems a bit silly to "name a hand" because an attractive girl won with it AIPF as a big preflop dog during the last two tables of an event she failed to win that gets roughly 10% of the field size of the WSOP... and the hand is only (borderline) memorable because of something someone else at the table did during the hand at that

Joe Hachem was AIPF with his tournament life on the line on the money bubble of the 2005 WSOP with 33 vs AK... just sayin'

For what it's worth, yes she is hot... but she's 42% hotter in the video because she's playing poker
