2-2 game. UTG limps for $5, couple fold, I raise in mp AQJT nut diamonds, hijack calls and only UTG calls. 3 handed.

Flop comes Qd 5s 3c. Check, $40, call call.

Turn is Ah. UTG checks. Action?

Details:

UTG (covers) - very loose passive preflop. Calls loose and bets wide post. Tight raiser.

Me (700) - tag today. UTG and I recently chopped up another in bloated pot. I have opened regularly but have shown almost no hands; usually missing multiway.

Hijack ($250) - playing tight and passive. Not running well.

I check behind here to control the size of the pot. Top two is probably good, but can't withstand a lot of pressure.

A wheel wrap got there and you were already behind a small set. Take the free card and re- evaluate on the river.

If the river is checked to you I would value bet for 1/4 pot or so.

I would like to bet, but I can't figure what Hijack called with on the flop. Tight passive doesn't call with much on the flop, most of which are now better than Hero's top two. In my mind a tight player isn't likely to hold two pair on that flop, so he is calling with sets and wrappy draws. If hero reads the villain as incompetent playing Omaha then I would reconsider.

Let's check behind and take the free card -=- DrStrange

Check is safe but a bet seems fine. I think you can make a small bet with hopes both players call but I would prefer an overbet, hope one player calls and value bet on the river if board doesn't pair.

Say you bet $20...what do you do if Hijack pots for $100? Board is pretty dry for 24xx.

Well I'd have to read him but I feel pretty confident we have it this hand. I don't see it happening with his stack and situation described here. Probably would call there.

Six handed is another story but as it happened I'd put him on A5 if he made that play. But that's gamblin.

Tight passive players don't raise A5 on this board in PLO. I agree check for pot control and re-eval on the river.

Check to induce a river bluff or value bet from worse. Virtually no value in betting this turn (everything worse folds, everything better stacks off, not a ton to protect against.)

I misread the pot and bet 150. Would have preferred 125 or even 100. I do think worse hands call, such as 764, aces up, ace plus a draw. I was going to bet Ace through 8 and check the little ones. On the other hand, this is the card for a wheel to checkraise.

I prefer to bet turn and check behind river if I don't like it. I may be wrong. If we are not betting top 2 on this board, our range becomes very polarized.

Hijack called and utg shoved quickly. I folded. Hijack showed QQ before leaving. Utg had A24x. I like his turn checkraise on the perfect card.
