These cards go by many names, advantage club cards, my choice rewards cards, etc. The names go on and on. My question to you is, do you ever get these "reward cards"? Are the benefits worth it?

Just curious about everyone's thoughts.

Usually there’s a $5-10 freeplay benefit right away.
You need a few to play in certain venues, like WSOP and even some card rooms to play in tourneys.
But for the most part I don’t get much use out of the others.

If you like getting casino comps, get the cards. If you think that you already win enough and want to give a little something back to the casino, skip the card.

Depends on the card. MGM's MLife Card is one I would recommend. I go to Vegas 2-3 times per year and my rooms are comped (aside from a $30-$40 nightly resort fee). I also receive $50 in food comps each trip.

I’m a fan of Caesar’s total rewards. It doesn’t hurt to get one, so you might as well

Hpw many hours do you average per day and at what stakes? I pay poker player rates at the Wynn and Palazzo which require 6 hours/day. "Free" sounds like a better deal. Is parking free at MGM?

Since I never play table games or slots, the only benefit I get are somewhat reduced room rates.

I just started making my way back at the casino and my casino of choice is the L'Auberge Red Stick Poker room in Baton Rouge. I'm planning on trying to get a few hours at least once or twice a week. I prefer $1/$3 NLHE, but I'll play 4/8 limit when the NLHE tables are full.

I play 1/2 or 1/3 for probably an average of 5 hours a day when I'm there. I play some low-stakes blackjack and pai gow as well - maybe 2 hours per day at the most. I've never parked at any of the properties, but I think that some offer free parking and others don't. I believe I get free valet at the level I'm at, but I've never used it.

Do the points level ever reset, or do they just continuously add on?

Yeah, they reset annually, but you maintain the “level” you’re at. I’ll probably never make it to the next level, but I’m fine where I’m at with free rooms.

Even though they reset annually, I think a 3 month grace period in given to folk as to keep letting them access certain rewards, such as the diamond lounges

That may be a part of Caesar's Total Rewards program, but not MGM. MGM lets you retain the benefits of a particular level indefinitely once you reach that level.
