Gemaco has/had a similar spot pattern, but their spots go deeper into the center of the chip than these, and the recessed labeled diameter isn't as large. Plus I don't think that particular Gemaco chip design has diamonds on the rolling edge.
Cermics are pretty rare. But if you look closely at the rolling edge pictures, you'll see delamination occurring at the spot edges where the different colored plastics didn't fuse well. That doesn't happen with printed ceramics.
