The Feria Nacional de San Marcos (San Marcos Fair) in Mexico is a national fair held in the Mexican state of Aguascalientes every year for three (or sometimes four) weeks. Most of the events related to the fair, however, occur in the city of Aguascalientes, the state capital. The exact date of the fair varies every year but is set around April 25, the Feast Day of San Marcos.
Decades ago, the fair also offered gaming and had custom chips & plaques. I haven't ever seen the chips for sale but occasionally the plaques show up on eBay.
One of my, "if I were richer than rich" dreams is to have a set of these - just because. For now and forever, I'll just have to be satisfied with a sample set of plaques.
