For custom felts…Chanman felts = absolutely fantastic. If looking to upgrade your table too, you also have a master craftsman that builds them like a mile away from you in La Vista with bsdunbar1.

Hey @Azalyer! Yeah, @SeanGecko was kind enough to send me some of his — they are Super Diamonds and readily available in the UK. You'd just need to get custom labels made from @Gear and stick them on. Once I'm back from Vegas, will send you some so you can see what they're like.

We’ve been evolving over the last few months since I started hosting a regular game. We added bomb pots every 45 minutes. Into the bomb pot goes “the remote” which the winner gets until the next bomb pot. They get control of the music for that span.

Last week I also picked up a pack of fireball shooters, and every bomb pot gets one added to it as well. If you don’t like bomb pots you could do either of these to a random pot every hour or whatever.

What seperates my game from every other game I play around me is having everything prepared when guests arrive. Chip stacks, cards, seating and blinds timer are all ready to go. At my friends' games it takes at least 20-30 minutes to figure out the blinds and chip stacks and whose phone is gonna run the timer. Drives me nuts...

Aside from a true poker table (which I think is very important), I guess it depends on whether you have a dedicated poker area or not. If you do, adding some fun, themed decor definitely helps. Are you going for a bar room feel, casino, Vegas, etc.? Adding some inexpensive wall art is an easy start and creates a cool feel for hanging out for hours playing cards…totally different feel than just sitting at a standard kitchen table and staring at pictures of your family or looking at “Live, Laugh, Love” signs or whatever you have for the rest of your house LOL. You know, stupid easy shit like having a picture printed out on canvas to hang up. Look in local ads for beer/neon signs if that works with your theme.

A nice table, custom chips, and nice cards is what you need. Run the game efficiently. If you have a casino near by go okay there and replicate how they manage buyins, dealing, pots, etc.
Make your place a little personalized casino/card room and people will appreciate it
