Just don't ask any questions ...... I sent a question about a chip on Saturday (different seller) and when I got the response back, the price of the chip had doubled

Not me. I don't think I'd ever even seen a 1c chip before this one (well, I probably had, but it clearly wasn't memorable). Got lots of nickels, though.
