Two to go.

It's all fun and I'm glad you are taking the time to do it but when the PCA wins the semifinal but you bring the 2nd place chip to the final as well, you automatically split the votes on that side so it's not a true result. Anyone who voted for Silver Star isn't suddenly going to throw votes on PCA and some voters for Silver Star would switch to TI so you automatically biased the result for TI. Maybe TI wins anyways but PCA never really had a shot.

That’s how all of the voting has worked though for all chip colors. PCA was a tie with silver star for almost the entire time the poll was “open”. Up by 1 then tie. Up by 1 then tie.
Plus what chips end up in each round against each other has a lot of influence as well. I guess if the polls were left open for a year at a time the results would be more correct but

This is a fun exercise, but man, I sure don't think the best chips are ending up the winners. That pink chip?? I rest my case (and then duck). Actually, come ON, that is very very far from the best yellow chip. Nope. Voting is rigged.

I take Silver Star all day long, out of the finalists in the red category. (and it completes for best green chip too). But still don't think it's the best red chip.

Funny what kind of crazy shit we end up with when people vote (haha).

Still, a very fun exercise.

You might as well be shouting at the clouds. A hot stamp chip has about the same chance of winning as a ceramic chip. That’s just reality.

I'm not really advocating for the Silver Star so much (although It's my favorite of my Paulson sets). I'm just saying that the line-up of winners, well.....weird.

The PCA should have ended up with three winners when one of the $500s wins the orange final.
PCA is great. But I’d say the same thing happened in the black chip voting and PCA stole that one.

But I’m voting for the PCA $500 tho

I think the winners/finalists should be considered “one of the best” vs the actual best. Best is very subjective

I'm the first one to point out the flaws in these polls.

There are only about 90 people on PCF who bother to vote.

I have biases that affect results.

How chips are grouped affects results.

My non-mathematical methods affect results.

How chips are shown in a picture affects results.

The quality of pictures affects results.

Are the best casino chips in these polls? Absolutely yes. But the results should not be taken very seriously. I just think it's fun to have extreme opinions about unimportant things. Like the piece-of-shit toothpaste-colored cow pie that somehow won the red chip contest.
