With five days of voting remaining, only one chip stands out so far in this crowd.

I'm trying very hard to avoid the non-green chips, because $25's are green. But I can't ignore that Silver Saddle beauty.
It's interesting how the nuance of the choices changed from the first time I did this by color, to now doing it by denomination. There is an orange $25, not in this group, that is doing spectacularly well, and deservedly so. But does it have the legs to win it all, despite not being green? We will see!

The power of vibrant non-standard Vegas colors is likely to reign supreme in these votes, to the extent if we get even one winning chip from NV I will be surprised.

Silver saddle was the 1 seed from the beginning for sure. Will be surprised if it doesn’t win the whole thing. I don’t get Elsinore crushing personally, but maybe it’s weak competition.

Yes, lots of people are attracted to shiny things

The Macons remind me of the Moonlight Cardhouse chips, which are easily my favorite of the customs I've seen. The Silver Saddles do too, but ... in a bad way. Like someone making a terrible cover of a song you love.

Weirdly, I think the only other chip I really enjoy out of this whole batch is the Ponderosa, and I'm struggling to see why. On paper, I should probably like the Gold River and the Nevada Lodge chips, but they're absolutely turning me off.

I feel like a heretic, but I genuinely think non-white inlays would make a whole mess of chips look better, the Nevada Lodges included.

Maybe the Gold River just looks ... "kiddy" to me. Too much brightness, not enough depth tying it together?

Silver Saddle and Macon County (dibs) for me. Lake Elsinore would have been better with sloth claw spots…still a great chip though. Agree with you, difficult to make a green chip stand out next to a Paulson blurple with bright spots.

Really looking forward to voting on the best $20. Quite a few heavy hitters in that category.

Similar to group 2, only the Silver Saddle is worth promotion here. Every other chip is just an also-ran.

Out of 70 votes, Elsinore was at 44, second was WAY back at 26. I get that there are mathematical differences between "choose 4 of 12" and "choose 1 of 2", but I doubt any of the other eleven chips would stand a head-to-head chance against the mighty Lake Elsinore $25.
