I was checking out Hilton properties near the airport, are these hotel choices going to be the closest to you?
I’m a Hilton Honors member so I always look into those properties first.

If he doesn't flatten those nickels, it'll be a lot harder to harvest the best one for my Windy City sample set.

I forgot I did the sample set sale. If I had more headway, I'd do a special run of Windy City $5s like how @Payback did years ago, but CPC seems like they're over 6 months out on orders. If this is a hit I'll get something made up for 2024.

And I still have side projects for my $2 chip, and I'd love to do oversized $20s and $100s. But I haven't felt like lighting more money on fire yet. At least not on poker chips. These poor chips, the only action they've seen the last 4 years is as a bank for board games.

So, with the main list 'full', 3 tables is a guarantee at this point. For now, I'm going to keep that list capped at 20, because realistically there's a couple other locals that will swing by. However, I haven't played poker with them regularly for a few years now, so I'm not sure how many will show up. Ultimately, once we're ~2 months out, I'll gauge their interest and try to get commitments, and from there I'll adjust the main list as necessary.

Are poker hoodies still a thing, or is there something better out there these days? I have one somewhere but can't find it. I have my main, 8-handed Windy City table that I built back in 2014, but the other two tables will be a folding circle table (seats 8 comfortably) and the 3rd table will be my large board gaming table in the game room (rectangular, seats a small family of 12). I'll need something to cover the surfaces of the other two tables.

Also have a cheap folding table, but it's a little warped and pretty crappy. I drive a truck so no worries throwing it in if you think you might want to use it.

Edit: It's the same size and style as a basic Barrington.

Chip preview: Empress Joliet Primaries

Yes those are @Schmendr1ck's 3 racks of primary $1s. I laid claim on them all the way back in 2014 at the HPI he ran at his house. Sure enough, 6 years later he came through and gave me first shot at buying them.

The majority of the $5s have been jewelry-cleaned and oiled by me. There's maybe 2 racks that still need doing, but overall they cleaned up REALLY well years ago. (I think I did it back in 2018.)

Also, pictures of my best find on eBay: SLOT QUARTERS in a mint roll. Such a perfect addition to the set. I'll be breaking them out as quarters for the smaller table!

Agreed! Don't bust that! Do you not have any other quarters? I have tons of cards mold and china clay quarters, but no Paulsons...

Surprisingly cards mold are pretty similar in dimensions to Paulsons. They play well together.

I have about 200 of these Aria's tribute quarters. Happy to bring them.

Don’t break open that roll. I have plenty of fracs we can use. Hot stamps, THC, RHC, BCC, suits molds, starbursts, etc. We can find one that fits.
