PCF Car Pr0n - Cool cars you have / had / want! (8 Viewers)

Like the hairpin shot! Didn't take one in the tunnel? :cool
Sadly not, they have barriers the whole way down and no real places to pull in. The hair pin shot took my wife 2 laps to get. From the casino photo I ran down to the hairpin (short way), told her too drive the long way by which time id be there with the camera. Turns out she didn't drive slow enough so had to do another lap :D

I have a picture of me at the tunnel, but doubt you'd want to see that? :wow:

Knew this forum wouldn't disappoint! Some serious metal here, good work folks!

Love a Mustang!! The new ones above look impressive. @TKEUofM what mods you running? Looks like a good size good scoop to make room for shiny things? @FordPickup92 loooove classic Mustangs, still got it? Got any more pr0n? :nailbite:

Just grabbed a few pics of my 350 which was sold when we bought our first house. There seems to be a trend of me selling Zed's to buy sensible things :( I loved this one, sounded so good with the Ti exhaust. We took it round Europe fora few weeks. Pic below from Monte Carlo / Monaco. The day we left for our next destination we checked out of the hotel at 05:30 and did a few laps of the F1 circuit. The street cleaners thought we were a little odd:whistle: :whistling:
We also parked it right outside the Monte Carlo casino for a photoshoot haha!

I owned two 1986 Toyota MR2's (both 5-speed manual). Really my favorite car to date. Just so much fun.
Nice looking examples! The MK1 MR2 was the first proper car I bought myself after uni. I think mine was an '87. It is the one that got away, shouldn't have sold it!!

This was my 2010 Ralliart, the first brand new car I owned. I think it was 2016 when I got ride of it which was a mistake. Had about 4k left on the loan and it only had 32k miles on it. Bought in 2010 and I joined the military in 2011. It sat for a while at my moms house until I had it shipped to my duty station in Germany. I deployed a few times so I didn't drive it very often.

This is my current car (2019 Subaru STI) that I bought stock (but used) with about 6k miles (has 13k now). I've always wanted a STI ever since I heard the boxer rumble of my friends bugeye WRX back in 2002-2003. I'm deployed again and this one's in storage for the next year. Coincidentally it will be shipped to Germany next year

Nice motors dude. Always liked the new Scoob.
My wife has just sold her white Evo X after 5 years ownership, prior to that we had an Evo V. Both running around 400bhp. Such awesome cars :wow:

They are very hard to find
Same for me with the 67 vette. Bought it in 1976 for about $10,000 sold it in 1979 for $16,000. I'm a great auto trader :(

You made a little, but yes frustrating when you watch the values of certain cars. I've had a lot of MR2's over the years, look at prices now they are 3x more than I sold for. Need to try and get ahead of the curve and buy at the right time I guess!

Damn that V is sick. When I was in Germany I had the opportunity to buy an Evo 6.5 Tomi Makinen edition but at the time I wouldn't have been able to import it into the states. The Evo X was out of my price range at the time I bought the Ralliart.

I miss this boat. So much fun to drive! Lots of torque from the LT1, and it was quick off the line with 3.73 gears and a posi added. The previous owner had it tuned so the transmission would shift harder too, similar to a shift kit. Easy to bark the tires going into 2nd, sometimes you could even get a chirp going to 3rd if you were really on it. Surprised a lot of people at stop lights. It was also easy to hang the ass end out, but it was predictable and easy to control with the posi. I got some studded snow tires for the winter and never got stuck after that. The previous owner also swapped in the leather Bonneville seats which are possibly the most comfortable seats ever made for a car. Loved them.

My current car and probably the coolest car I can see myself owning in the near... or even far future.
Mercedes CLK320. I’m lucky I even own this thing. Love it to bits.
Not really a "driver's car" but truly very nice all-around.
As a (much) younger petrolhead I used to say that only my last car to use (the one to take my coffin to the grave:D) would be a Mercedes.
Age has softened my radical feelings.:)

Yeah I’d maybe say it’s more of a grand tourer. At my age I had an incredible opportunity to get it at a price I could just about justify so I went for it. Ive had it a fair few years and will probably run it into the ground before I get anything else.
With the way the economy and my career is going I can’t see myself in a position to replace it with anything as cool unless I either pull my finger out or get lucky.
I’ve had the pleasure of driving many a high end car for various reasons and afterwards I still get in my car and just love the experience. It may be a bit old hat these days (I can’t get it to connect to my phone unless I get an expensive adaptor) but who cares! This thing is my Millennium Falcon.
I can understand your point about having it as a last car. We build preconceptions about certain things. My last car will probably be something that’s electric and drives itself. Boring!

The 911 has left me so broke (till it's sold :) ) that I can only consider my feet, the subway with un-masked idiots in the middle of a pandemic, and filthy taxis for urban use, and probably a Suzuki Jimny, the tiny and famous Jeep-killer, for rural use.

The latter's infamous lack of power and complete inability to overtake is mitigated by the completion of several motorways in Greece, where true overtaking (ie exposed to the opposite traffic current) is no more an issue:LOL:

It could also offer long-cherished or forgotten strong pleasures (no need for being kept in a garage, no need for valet parking, no concern about ground clearance, no obscene insurance premium, no cop curiosity, no need to completely cancel a trip because of a flat tyre, no need to wash immediately after a summer trip into the insect fauna).:)

I don't normally keep cars too long, but far too attached to this one. My daily driver Z51

Oh this is nice!! Bet it sounds sweet too! Haven't owned a true muscle car (they aren't too common here in the UK), but would love a classic Mustang one day as a Sunday car. Closest we came was on Honeymoon in the USA, we had a Camero SS for our trip - worked our way from San Francisco to Miami over 3 weeks. Sadly the roof was up for most of the journey, was too hot!

Man I wish I had pictures

I used to own a 91 MR2 turbo “fauxrrari”. I’m not into modding but previous owner was. It had 18psi boost and blowoff valve that made it sound so 90s rice rocket. I didn’t think having a mid rear engine would be that huge in handling but it drove on rails. Right when it would feel like it was going to slip out a little throttle gripped the corners. I loved that car and regret selling it. But it was impractical for our family. I’m looking for another one.

After that I owned a 2004 E55 Amg. That car was a BEAST!! I swear when I first drove it all I could think was “I’m not man enough to drive this car”. It took me a while to get used to so much torque. It was such a sleeper too. I walked several Ferrari’s and Porsches on the hey. I sold it for more than I bought it. My grail now is the impossible E55 AMG Wagon. I’ve only seen one in person.

My skyline is in the garage having a new bodykit fitted/respray, then some engine mods and a remap but heres a few pics from when I got the car to now. It looks like its gone backwards a bit but trust me its gonna look beasty when it's done.

I'll add progress pictures as they come.

Man, got wing?!
Where about's are you based? The plate looks familiar, but may just be from the many jap shows I've been to over the years.

I'm from North West London

I've had that plate on all of my cars, not just the skyline.

And yes gotta have a big wing on a skyline IMO

Yep, the 90's MKII shape was so good! I've had a nonturbo, and a turbo, both excellent. I met my wife through MR2's are we both drove them and met at a big show one summer. At the time she had a turbo, I did not, so that had to changed rapidly! Can't have a slower car than the wife  :ROFLMAO: The white one was the turbo, such a good car!

Is that an EVO?

2004 Scion xB Release Series 1.0 (limited edition). I owned two! First an automatic for three years and sold it to buy a bigger Toyota for growing family. Then via an eBay impulse buy, another for fun (this one a proper 5-speed manual). Shipped from California to Maryland. Still drive it. Can you say "future collectible"?

Is that a toaster?
