PCA vs. Horseshoe Cleveland (1 Viewer)

So I was reading the PCA thread and was surprised to see it only had 20 gaming tables plus poker yet there was a little over 271,000 chips between the primary and secondary sets.

The Cleveland Horseshoe has 119 gaming tables including 30 poker tables.

There was an article in the local paper that listed the Horseshoe as replacing a little over 400k chips.

Thinking about the numbers it makes me think the 400k may have been just the primaries that had been put into play.

With the Horseshoe having 5 times the gaming tables wouldn't it make sense that the would need 5 times the chips?

PCA had 2nds for all denoms. If CHS had 2nds for the $1s and $5s the number probably would have went up to 650K

To be clear, CHS did not have secondary 1s and 5s

That is a good point, but the largest chip in the PCA casino was $500, the CHS goes all the way up to $25k with secondary chips for all those extra high value chips

. And with 5 times the tables wouldn't you need 5 times as many chips to run them?

The PCA had 150k in it's primary set.

I think we are going to see a lot of chips from Jim from the Horseshoe for a loooong time to come.

By the end the PCA sales he was clearing them out for 25 cents each.

After missing out on the presale, I bloody well hope so (y) :thumbsup: I spent three days talking myself into sacrificing my CPC budget for those mint secondary beauties.

I think we are going to see a lot of chips from Jim from the Horseshoe for a loooong time to come.

I'm pretty sure there will be PLENTY leftover after the presale. But he mentioned there were no secondary $1s or $5s.

This didn't really seem like a presale. I think he had the chips in hand this time before the sale. But if he has a lot, he can release them in waves . I might catch another wave

I think it was initially, but morphed into something else when the shit hit the fan and things got postponed.
