I recently came across some Paulson Starburst THC chips. I found that my red glow under black light. Compared to the regular orange that doesn’t. What colors of red glow? Are the ones I found a special red?
What’s makes it glow?

Possibly Royal Red.
I’ve been trying to figure out the color since there’s multiple shades of red and it’s hard to determine which is which. Especially through pictures of sample colors. Was royal res the only one that glowed? Are ones that glow more desirable?

I don’t know the color names, but if you look at the picture I posted there, you’ll see that my red Dunes glow.
But no, I don’t think anybody really cares about what glows when they’re buying chips - it’s just a fun novelty as far as I can tell.

Does anyone have a thread that has a Paulson color chart so I can compare my red?

Objects containing phosphors glow under UV light, because they absorb the UV light and reflect it in another wavelength of tge visible spectrum. Lots of minerals and plastics qualify, which explains their presence in a lot of chips that give it a distinctive colour and texture.

Detergents and cosmetics commonly have phosphor constituents, which is why you see white clothing glow in clubs and bars since they tend to saturate everything with UV light.

There are a number of UV light threads, one of them here:

I had a bunch of older blue hotstamps from two different casinos and they looked exactly the same color. However, under UV light, one of the sets turned purple.
It can definitely be used to help determine colors.
When it comes to my reds, because it’s Paulson, does that mean it’s radiant red if it glows? Or are you saying that even regular starburst reds could glow too?

No idea, some colors glow and some don’t. I was just saying that I was able to differentiate some chips that looked the same under normal light. If you have a Paulson sample set of known colors, you may be able to compare that to chips using UV light to identify them better than just using room light.

my radiant reds glow
I read somewhere that only certain colors glow under blacklight. Is that true? Would that mean that mines are radiant red? But under regular light they look like regular red.

A couple of reds glow, I believe. Radiant red for sure, and maybe watermelon and one other.

Maybe someone with a full sample set can chime in.
