Does anyone know if Radiant Red has had a formula change?

Going through my recently harvested Bally's $5s, I can't help but notice the color is more "pale" and muted compared to an older Bally's $5 single chip I have. FWIW, the newer chips match the Paulson color sample chip perfectly, while the older chip has more "pop" to it, and almost a neon glow.

Chipguide shows that chip was first issued in 1999, so it's a possibility that old chips used a leaded formula vs the more recent non-leaded chips.

Or, it may just be enhanced from many years of exposure to handling and hooker juice. Have you tried cleaning one of all oils and seeing how it appears?

Also, have you directly compared it to other Paulson leaded Radiant Red chips from that earlier era (Scandia, etc.)?
