While it may not be ideal, that breakdown could support 10-max T1000 - T2500 (10-10-7-x) and 10-max T10,000 (8-8-4-7) tourneys with enough big denoms remaining for color-ups and/or re-buys.

sounds reasonable, but the tournament 10 max - T1000 (10 * 5 + 10 * 25 + 7 * 100)
you will not be able to redeem the $ 5 chip ...
