This just came up. Somebody posted that glossy inlays were a negative. I'm just wondering if that's a consensus. Lets not get distracted by options no longer available. But for what's currently available, what kind of inlay do you prefer on your paulsons?
I prefer glossy. I like the feel and I see nothing wrong with them.
The other option - I don't know what it's called (matte perhaps?) just feels paperish to me and it feels kind of cheap.
Seems to me there's been some discussion in the past about how glossy inlays age, so maybe that's people's issue with them?
I'd like to hear opinions!

The texture, was engraved in the older Paulson molds, and stamped into the inlay during compression ,as with many of the still current CPC molds. It seems the current crop of Paulson mold cups have a smooth center area

Is PCA an older Paulson mold? I didn't think this was engraved/stamped.
