I bought a set of casino chips from a seller recently. Included there was a note of how they were ‘cleaned’ with recommendations to do the same periodically.

They were soaked in water with oxi for 30 mins, scrubbed, re-soaked in a bowl with dish soap and then air dried.

These are paulson THC, Jack Casino chips. They absolutely reek of oxi, and compared to others in my set, the texture and feel of this batch is just….off. Compared to the others they almost feel plastic now.

Is there anything I can do to bring these back to life?
Thanks

Unnecessary, unless you're playing on the floor of a whorehouse.

Oiling with regular unscented mineral oil. I would personally do compression, since they are likely very dried out at the moment, but you'll obviously want to use the search function here and make your own decision. This is something I would recommend for any and all chip maintenance.

Thanks for the reply. That makes a lot of sense
