Paulson Classics Relabel (1 Viewer)

I love my classics and would never change them, but the biggest complaint others have is the Paulson Chips mold, not the inlay.

^This^ Personally I just always thought it's a bit gaudy to have "PAULSON CHIPS" in the actual mold.
But then again people walk around in T-shirts with "Gucci" or "Armani Exchange" emblazoned across their chest, so to each their own.

I’ve had my set since they were first released and have always like them. Have 2,300 now in my set.

I’m seeing people relabel all different sets including some of the rare ones. I just got a Rounders set and would like a custom set someday from CPC. But then had the thought that maybe I could relabel the Classics to make them “custom” and save money and not order a third set.

Not sure why everyone hates the Paulson Chips stamp on them. Casinos will print their own name in the mold for their house sets. Still a high quality chip in my opinion.

Agreed! I don’t see too many people complaining about the look of these tires:

The blue 10 looks so great, too bad it was a 10, most setups don’t really need it. A 25 cent blue is great.

Yes this ^^ why the hell would they make a $10 instead of a frac, big mistake imho. Its easy enough to do if you have a cash set of classics, you can use the $10's or the non denominated blue Pharaoh chip. The art work is simple enough to replicate and since they don't exist no issue with having the labels printed.

Yeah, that’s a really good idea, flip the $10 to a frac and then I would just need to pick up 2 racks of singles which I don’t have.

Has anyone relabeled Paulson Classics? Please share pictures if you have.

Relabeling a Paulson Classic could only ever improve the overall look of the chip.

However, you're stuck with the mold. I won't go so far as to say I "hate" the Paulson House mold, but I definitely don't "like" it. If it said "Paulson" only (taking out eh "Chips" part), I think I would tolerate it much better.

I was going to do this like 10 years ago when I had classics, I will see if I still have the art if I do I will give it to you.

I am surprised to read this. For me it’s the opposite. I actually like the Classics version of the Paulson Chips mold. I don’t like the CDI version. But I would relabel them. The tourney denom chips are fantastic colors. But yeah... that would be a relabel project for me.

I’m with you...I know we are in a very small minority, but I like the Paulson Chips mold as well. I guess I would like it even more if it was just Paulson (I KNOW they’re chips) but I can’t really complain

I really like the relabel of the blue chip! Looks great! I’ve thought about a relabel of the blue chip to a $5000 and the white chip to $10000 and add to the tourney set.

Thanks, Gear does a great job with labels. We have a T2500 tourney format so I don't really need a $5k or $10k chip, so I decided to track down a few racks of $1s and convert a few racks of the $10s to quarters.
