Had these up a few months ago but let the thread die off. Now decided they have to go so:

Could use a wipe over but chips are in great shape overall:

How many different Avalon sets are out there? I thought the $1's were white.

The "stock" Avalons were offered in both regular and Cali colors (white or blue $1s, red or yellow $5s, green or purple $25s, etc.) But it was also possible in the original GB (and maybe later for a while) for people to customize their denoms, as long as they met a minimum order, and paid a little extra I believe. I don't think you'll see black $1s anywhere other than this listing.

Thanks! You and I must have contacted Josh around the same time period. I was completely unaware they were sold out and had just seen them a couple weeks before I emailed Josh. I had been saving my pennies and was planning on having J5 do custom hotstamps on this mold.

@Ben 's post above made me really curious about the quantities, so I did a little research on CT. I found the original order post and 2 add on posts. I may have missed some orders, but near as I can tell, you were a mad genius putting together a one off set:

Black $1s - 100 total ordered (all you)
Pink $2s - 200 total ordered (all you)
Green $3s - 200 total in an add on order (all you)
Blue $20s - 100 total ordered (all you)

I can't really tell what Josh ordered, and I may have missed other orders, but you clearly seemed to have your genius thinking cap on.

very cool classified add.....chips are long sold but the discussion goes on and on - in my humble opinion....this set should probably sell for double next time...

great order, great grab, great chips and let's keep nagging on Paul - son to stop with the pouting and start producing for the poor chip lovers once again!!! ( altough that would devalue some set.......but oh well, we're all a bit nuts....would have probably cured cancer and definitly would flown to Mars if there were some chips up there).....

As for Paulson coming back. YES, YES, YES. I would be more than willing to take a hit on the value of my Paulson chip sets for the opportunity to get more at a lower price.
