So I'm somewhat new to yalls "high end world" of poker chips and playing cards...but I do like nice things, and I'm loving learning and soaking up all this knowledge around here. I'm already planning for a custom poker chip set. Now on to my playing card question: So I went ahead and bought my first KEM and Copaq decks after reading all the hype. Well, they are fine, but I don't love them. What I love is the "casino" poker cards...I'm guessing these are considered "paper"? In the past, I have bought the used casino decks that have the cut corner. I love the feel of these, even though they may not last forever. So if those are the type of cards I'm looking for...who makes those and what's the best places to look for them?

My guess is the US playing card company. I collect cards and their sticker is on almost everything. I have a few decks with the paulson name on them. I havent researched that. The thing is this company does different quality cards too. They make mavericks which are very cheap and low quality. I just found out they were acquired. I also found an article that said some Vagas casinos use gemaco. Happy reading.

You may have already discovered this, but it looks like Bee from Bicycle were used in most casinos. I always loved Bee, maybe this is why. Tally Ho are pretty awesome too.

Every single casino or cardroom where I’ve ever played poker used plastic cards - almost always KEM in the higher end ones and Copag in the cheaper ones.

The generally use paper cards for blackjack and other table games. And those are the ones sold with cut corners. Often Bee brand. Check out eBay - you can find them new (for closed casinos) pretty often.

The ellusionist site and the theory 11 site are also good to peruse directly even though they are sold at the above link
