I like them but a little out of my price range.

I don’t get it. I thought Nevada Gaming Commission says retired chips must be destroyed/clipped/drilled. So how are these available? Does it only apply to cash chips, and since these are NCV tourney chips they’re ok?

Someone’s bound to buy these. But for me, the solid colors only, the off colors, the low chip-count, the mix-in of Blackjack ncv chips, kills it.

What's your price range Tommy?

You're tempting me. :) It would be hard to make a 10 player set from the current breakdown. I could probably track more of them down. Do you know if any T5000 chips were made?

I believe Palm makes these for the CCGTCC when they have their convention and tourneys. When I became a member a few years ago, they sent me a some samples chips as a sign up bonus. A few of them were those. Not sure if they were the same years though. I'm guessing the CCGTCC has some arrangement to keep/buy them as souvenirs. Maybe someone with more info on them will chime in.

I see, interesting to know, thanks.

I apologize for the external links, having trouble resizing photos on my phone.

These are a sample set I picked up a couple years ago. I liked these ones best because the one side is plain, so I can just display that side. Other sample sets like the set in this auction were also available at the time, but I am not wild about the comic sans.

Yes,, that plain side with just the palms logo look pretty good. Not a fan of the ads they do on the back.

Difficult to expand this set unless one makes it a mixed set. Either way they are great looking chips!

There are a least two more sets out there....Where I don't know.... I have some oversized chips from similar tournaments.

Hope someone here gets these!
I can't go a day with out seeing a set I want but won't get! Lol!!!
That green sure is sweet!
