Flopped this on first hand of the night in big blind.

Went all in. Got called. Won the hand and KO’d the other guy.

Although your equity is +EV, the ROI of a shove is -7.3, with an R value of 1d. A check here puts the villain in a very polarized VPIP at the top of his range. Hero has to shove to maximize his ICM.
 
If you want honest feedback on how you played the hand, you shouldn't post the results so quickly.

Preflop: Shove to maximize fold equity.
Postflop: Check it to the river and min-bet so that Villain is forced to call with his entire range.

You screwed up every street and got lucky.
 
I would say doing "donk" jams like that with the nuts early in tournaments is probably the most profiable way to play it
