So ive mentioned I was going to rubber stamp some cheap super diamonds so I had something a little DIY to play with

One side will be the pattern on pick and the other just a value

Or should I stamp the value over the design after it has dried.
I really like the design and don't want to ruin chips as I have no extras!!!!!

See poor people can have chips too

I would feel great about stamping a denomination on both sides of the chip. I think it’s a smart thing to do.
As far as the design stamp goes, the phrase “lipstick on a pig” comes to mind. I’m not trying to be a jerk. I’m poor too, right now. But you asked for opinions.

I’d do just one side denom one side design. Keep it clean

if you need extras put out a WTB ad and I’m sure somebody has some of theses around

So stamping straight is difficult

Make a jig that holds the chip and centers the stamp. If you are at all handy with tools, this won’t cost much at all.

Anyway... Are you confident those stamps will survive zillions of shuffles?

My hand is steady just the stamp is off centre.
Will they survive absolutely not. But at least I don't need to look at plain chips anymore
