OP udpated: CPC customs project - Mo's Poker Room (1 Viewer)

Still indecisive if the charcoal chip is to close to purple/lavender as Irish stated with his pics (after taking a close look, he may be right) - what a bout a blurple/blue combo (that would eliminate the closeness of the edgespots from chip 1&3) ... saw some photos of blurples here and I really like the color

Another thought would be to switch to black for the 2€ chip and keep the purple one (classic black chip is always nice)

Charcoal / top row, and x2 for dg yellow :tup:

Order will be placed this weekend -

It will be 400 chips each (cash/tourney), still finalizing my breakdown on the cash set, but I think i will go with

100 x 10c
200 x 50c
060 x 2€
040 x 10€

for a total bank of 630€ (should be enough, average buyin always is 20-30€ in 6 player round)

After spending a lots of hours this weekend discussing "Mo's Poker Room" (including thinking of re-label chips for the set), I decided to go for another solid set from CPC (well actually my first, the other one was with ASM) - I was always 100% happy with chips from ASM (I guess CPC will be the same).

My wife totally favored the solid against edge spots (I agreed after comparing the Mock-ups and my wallet will be happy too) :D. The mold hast unquestionably to be E&C (for my last custom set "Monsoon Palace" I was too impatient to wait and chose CSQ over E&C as it was just being released in 2010 ... if I am recalling this right) - according to David Spragg E&C will last at least 3-4 month until production starts ... but so be it.

10 different chips (actually eight plus Bounty/Show Em) - no matching color on the special chips due to the retro blue one (would be illegible with the black inlay, so both special chips have completely white inlays)

The set is designed to cover cash game (0.20 / 0.20) and tourney (T5000 - flexible up to 10 players). I worked myself through a lot of threads with pictures and samples and I am totally happy with the chosen colors (especially for cash game with that DG tiger, DG Peacock and bright white).

6 unweighted colors / 4 weighted colors

Breakdown will be (as long as nobody convinces me that the breakdown is totally bulls***):

200 x 0.20
160 x 1
080 x 5
080 x 25
060 x100
060 x 500
030 x 1000
010 x 5000
010 x Bounty
010 x Show Em
=============
700 total chips

T5000 starting stack
10 x 5
10 x 25
7 x 100
6 x 500
1 x 1000
=============
34 chips

Cash game starting stack (30€ buyin)
25 x 0.20
20 x 1
1 x 5
=============
46 chips

Happy to get another round of feedback - some question to the design experts?

- Is the circled font far enough from the edge?
- are the white fonts (denom and text) legible enough (or should I increased font size)?

The circled font does look like it might be a tad too close to the edge. Did you use the artwork template from CPC which shows the exact borders within which your artwork needs to be (the red circle).

I like this solids version as well! I'm glad you chose to go CPC over relabeling in the end, this being a special project for you, a set of handmade chips is way more special and personal than just relabeling existing casino chips.

I think E and C mold may be one of the best CPC molds for a solid set. Kind of has a lot going on all on its own and doesn’t even really need the edge spots. Good mix of colors you have going here to...although not sure if I would have the show-stopper (DG tiger) as the lowest denom.

Will Check the Template ... Thank you

Copy that - I changed the DG tiger chip to 5 ... so it is the highest cash denom in play and now also is included in the tourney set :)

Also rearranged all elements according to CPC artwork template and changed the inlays to 1" - not sure about the bounty /show em chip (as I only will have 800 chips max, so only 8 different chips allowed as I read on the guidelines from CPC.
