I recall there had been some discussion about the lack of anywhere online where players could play mixed games, and/or other versions of Dealer's Choice games, etc.
One of the members here alluded to beginning a project to build something and another commented about needing to invest $mils for development of such a site.

I stumbled upon this site this weekend: https://www.unshuffled.io
Looks interesting and what looks like a cool twist of being able to use the site to build a custom game and also have manual input into pot splits, etc...

Free for now, but I guess if this is successful, the beta stage would lead to a membership platform.
It appears to be available for use on laptop and mobile.

Okay, this looks awesome.

Digging around in their help pages, it looks like it can handle games like Stud, and even draw-and-discard games like 5CD and Pineapple. All of the "game logic" is still manual, though - the dealer and players have to handle things like deciding who wins the pot and how to split it, as well as dealing new cards to players who have discarded. Hopefully as time goes by they'll be able to add more features and more automation, and create more preset templates.

Thanks for the pointer!

That's pretty much what I found among the Pros.

I was able to pretty quickly build templates for Stud Games, Badugi, 5 Card Draw and a few more unconventional games like 2 card Hi/Lo and 3 and 4 card guts games. You can also include a table dummy hand that always plays or is optional and manually dealt or include community cards.

The template allows you to build the base deal, then in game play, you can add your own variations of the base game by manually dealing and selecting pot winners. For example, 7 Card Stud variation of The Good, The Bad and The Ugly, etc.

Cons that I've observed so far are that the graphics and some game play are hard to read, like seeing bet sizes and/or seeing winning hand in real time in a fully automated game.

The site owner answered questions pretty quickly.

So yes this is completely true, and actually seriously annoying. The best place that I have come to find is good for practicing and playing mixed games is on the free pokerstars server. For phones apps it’s called “pokerstars lite” but can also be downloaded on the computer as the free version.

If there was a group of people to play, you’d theoretically be able to set up a “home game” style cash game or tournament and actually select any of those mixed games and make your own structure/ so on.

Mixed games I know of on poker stars free server include Omaha 8 and regular Omaha hi (fixed, PLO, and NL) stud, razz, and stud 8, a-5 and 2-7 single and tripple draw, badugi, 5 card single and tripple draw, 8 game, horse, and 5+ (short deck)

Don’t know if I’m forgetting anything, but I practice all the time on my mobile version just against Random’s but it’s be nice to get a small home game club going!
