Hey guys!

I have been hosting games at pokernow.club for my usual players a few times. Great free site with video/audio and good in-game features such as running it twice and PLO and PLO8 besides NLH. I want to play more often than my friends so I’m starting this as an interest thread to see who would like to play cashgames on a regular basis, let’s say weekly. We’ve been handling bank by everyone using swedish equivalent of venmo to me, but I guess paypal is just as good for an international table. We play either 1/2 or 2/4 swedish krona which is € 0.1/0.2 or obv double that. We could play in €. My suggestion would be NLH €0.1/0.2 for starters. I like the idea of sunday evenings but am open to other suggestions.

Let me know in the thread if you’d be interested.

Cheers!

Erik

What time zone are you in and how does that relate to Coordinated Universal Time (UTC)?
Im in EST and would be interested, just trying to figure out if it would be possible given the time zone difference.

Cool! I’m 6 hours ahead of you. I’m thinking it would start at like 7 or 8 pm over here

Are there any advantages over establishing a home game (invitation-only) in P*stars?
'Cause there is the obvious disadvantage of having to deal with multiple PP transactions, while in P*Stars you just upload your money to the site.

The customization possibilities is what attracts me. I would act as bank making sure it’s run as smoothly as possible. PP fees might be a deal breaker for none euro users but should be fine at least within EU.

Understood.
Live video means that I would have to shave after a year or so:p but that is OK.
If you undertake the PP ordeal, that's OK with me too. I guess people should just pay you for each buy-in, so, if busted, it would take some minutes and a break before they can join again (?)
Sunday evening is perfect.
2pm North American Eastern Time, 7pm London time, 8pm Stockholm time, 9pm Athens and Helsinki time.

I hope I’m not being naive in regards to PP fees but maybe we can give it shot and see how it works. Ideally 6-7 players (full ring is too boring imo). Check out the site, it’s really easy to set up games and it works like a charm.

It works by me starting a table and sending a link to everyone playing. I collect PP and everyone buys in for that amount (I approve sitting at the table and the amount). I guess rebuys would be handled like you say or if one wants to send more than the initial buy-in right away, doesn’t matter. We could do a play money trial run too, to let everyone interested try it out.

So, I could send you, let's say 50E with the instruction of putting only 20E (100BB) of them in play.
Is there a practical way to top up to 100BB anytime?

Interested and if it's purely run in Euro there are no pp fees for Euro currency users.

I have used pokernow.club a few times now and it's vastly superior to Pokerstars, especially if you don't wanna pay 3 buyins in rake for an evening of poker.
That's what we did when we hosted on Pokerstars for one night. $30 for 4h of 1 table action.

Yes, another PayPal transaction. This takes about 30s and should be possible to anyone with a cellphone.
We did this multiple times already and it's no hassle at all to just Rebuy on PayPal and receive play money on pokernow.club

You mean a smartphone, which I don't have out of conviction.
If the 50E (more that the initial buy-in) have already been sent to the banker, there should be a quick way of putting more of your already sent money into play

I was talking about my @@ ; no worries:LOL:

If the banker has already received the money there should not be a problem to just reload your play money.

Ok guys, let’s see if we can get a game going tomorrow at 8 pm gmt+1. Just type ”in” if you like to play and we’ll see if we can get enough interested players.

I'm definetely interested but I am not sure if I can make it tomorrow.

Regarding pokernow, it's an awesome site and it works like a charm. Played there with @OfficerLovejoy and some other german pcf members (tagged up top) and it worked great.

@Eriks start tagging people from the world over, or I 'll have to arrange a non-lucrative 3E tourney with the woman, tomorrow night
I hope it 'll work, but always have the P*Stars home salon in the back of your head.
Everyone could still play, including Canadians (not USAmericans though, sadly).
@Anthony Martino :p

IIRC PayPal Friends & Family payments within EU are without fees (there should be a list of countries somewhere on their site). People in other countries will need to pay a fee that varies based on where they are, and of course there will be a fee the other way as well. And of course some people might need to pay the currency conversion fee too. Recommended that everyone who plays has a EUR wallet on their PP account. Just something to take into account.

Personally I'm interested, but unfortunately can't make it tomorrow.

I’ll get on it a bit later. In the middle of a dinner here, sneaking away to post ;)
