Old worn THC relabel project. T-10,000 (1 Viewer)

I am looking for inspiration and advice on a RELABEL tournament set that I want to build.
It will be made of old THC Paulsons.
Typical stacks to cover a 20 man tournament :
160 purple 25’s
160 white 100’s
80 grey 500’s
200 pink or blue 1000
80 yellow 5000
You could change my mind on the 1000 and 5000 colors but the purple/white are decided 100%.

I would really like to do California colors but the problem lies in finding purple chips for the $25’s.
I do not want to do solids I really want edge spots.
The inlay is such that it really won’t rule out any particular edge spot progression or colors.
Could you guys help a brother out and post some pictures of old chips that would fit the description. They cannot be chips in good shape. Looking for well rounded chips without huge flea bites.

Purple chips are slim to none, I’ve been looking for Cali $25s for a long time

I plan to relabel all the chips.
Any suitable purple chips will do.

Purple, spotted, worn, THC, (not RHC?), in a quantity of 160, are going to be a tough find. There are purple, good condition, casino or fantasy sets, both THC & RHC, but to be casino worn, they need to have been in play for a while (a few years?).

Have you ever checked out the ChipGuide Query tool (link is on left side of ChipGuide main page)? It does not necessarily find all the chips of the specific color or H&C mold that are listed, but it finds the ones that have been coded with those values.

I am getting error messages tonight for whatever reason.
I have looked at Purple THC in great condition but chips I like are simply too much or no one is selling:

Casablanca $500
Various "fantasy" chips
If I could find 160 Horeshoe Gardena or Scandia or Casablanca $500's I would go that route.

You might be able to pry some white Lucky derby 100’s from someone here.

The Scandias are probably your best bet. I always thought they were boring especially considering the rest of the lineup, but they’d do the trick

All of the fantasy chips would work.
Hard to get 160 of them.
Still leaning towards the “old” chips if they are out there. Cali $25’s from a busto card room or casino would be the holy grail.

Not quite yellow, but the casino royale $1’s (almond perhaps?) might be a candidate for your 5k..

The Le Cove $500’s or Casablanca $500’s are the dream chips but they are just so expensive/chip and very hard to get in quantity.
The other issue of course is “old chips”.
Do I really have the stones the put those chips in a Rock tumbler??
Casino Royales are high on the list for a yellow.
