I'm headed to Vegas next week. I'm familiar with new strip poker rooms: Aria, Bellagio, Cesars etc. I haven't played old strip since Binion's was open and that was one time.

I'm staying at Circa to change it up this trip and plan to play poker for a day. Any old Vegas poker room recommendations?

I think Golden Nugget is the biggest one downtown.

I've only played at the Nugget but Bunions and the Plaza both had some tables last time I was there. That was at least 7 years ago though.

I thought the title said "Old Strip Vegas Poker Room Regs" and I was going to refer you to the ChipBoard.

Nugget is the only one currently open Downtown. On the strip I'd recommend Flamingo if you want to play in an older "room" with recreational players.
