For the record, I would never do this with a non degen crew. The degens I know are all good tippers and we are usually having a blast when we do this, and I'm sure the waiter/waitstaff can pick up on that vibe.

Only ever do this with known degen folk and never had a server be upset about it. It takes a moment to explain what's going on, but all the ones I've had enjoyed the sweat with us.

Going forward, my recommendation is that all those who dodge the bill step up and pool cash to cover the tip. AKA “Canadian CCR”

Or better yet, just the second-to-last person covers the tip. AKA “Icelandic CCR”.

Like Scarney, Icelandic CCR is much better. Should be a win for the server!
