Lol y didn't I think of that before! Got a glass! Bottoms up
I am doing it manually. I am using my wife's cotton face pads as the applicator, works fantastically.Hay nice. How are you oiling them?
FYI my wife thinks I am nuts for oiling poker chips!

I did contemplate the water and oil method, but I didn't want to submerge chips with labels. Thought the safest option would be manual. It takes a lot longer but I reckon it will be worth it in the end. I am have only got through 400 chips so far, got another 300 to oil. There is a weird calming effect too - like meditation. lol

What oil are you using? I will have to get some of those pads, I know what youre talking about.
The pic shows no labels. How did you handle the ones with labels. Just dip the pad in oil, and turn the chip while squeezing the pad on one end? Im worried about the labels coming off (I saw another thread where a guy had some problems).

I used unscented natural mineral oil - baby oil might work, just check there's no other ingredients in them.I saw someone used Johnson's baby oil. Is that the right stuff?
Be VERY careful if using water with this. If you must, try a single lump of frozen water
Do not use baby oil. Baby oil is scented mineral oil, and every time you play your chips, it'll smell like you're changing a diaper... Well, it'll smell like something. Whatever.
Mineral oil can be found at your Walgreens or other pharmacy, and is often branded/sold as a laxative. Use it very sparingly. The way I found easiest (other than the oil/water trick) was to take a hand washcloth, with a lot of texture, and get it very mildly damp with min oil. The min oil tends to work itself into the washcloth and spread out. Then I take the washcloth (much easier to hold than a cottonball or facial puff, and pinch it between two fingers, then take a chip edge and rotate it around between my pinched fingers a couple times (takes a second per chip). I make sure I'm coating the edge and both sides of the chip simultaneously. Then I lay the chip out the dry. The washcloth can also be used to quickly coat/oil the rolling edges of entire barrels of chips (just rotate the barrel between your fingers, while holding the washcloth in the other hand. I keep said washcloth in a zip lock baggie, and rarely do I need to add oil to it.

Done the oiling process. Ideally you want to leave the chips overnight or longer before wiping them down.Milly when you're done with your Majestics, I would be curious to hear your full download of how they stack up vs the Milanos once both have been oiled etc. Good luck!
the $1 whites are not bad, because I wasn't going for the full range of chips(colours), I decided to pick the fav ones. The brown $5000 chip is also really nice (but didn't need extra denoms). The pics don't do it justice.Milly I'm curious about your color choices. You didnt like the $1 whites? Those blues are sexy though.
