My best store often has me pick from the samples they are given. Often two are great, and they pick from those two. But with this one, the Woodinville, and the Angel’s Envy, I happened to be the deciding vote. So, that’s pretty cool.

If you like a smoky flavor grab that Laphroaig and never look back
Only scotch I've tried so far with any smoke is Oban 14. Definitely a little different, but I liked it. Not sure yet if I would want a lot more smoke. Gonna ease into that.
If you don't like smoky, get the Dalmore.
Read some online reviews. Going to try the Loch Lomond first.

This first week being dry has been tough enough, now those
We did a fun bourbon tasting last weekend. I went to total wine and bought random bottles at $10/20/30/40/50 and put them in generic bottles and we tasted blind. Only one person got all the prices correct.
