Tomorrow night we’re going to try the Super Derby Kart version of horse racing. We play horse racing between the tournament and cash games.

I will be using the topper I bought from @iLogik. I bought some Mario Kart hot wheel cars and put a number sticker on them. I 3D printed the four ? blocks with the scratched racers costs. I also printed off some plaques so it’s easier to see what the scratched racers owe. I also printed a Derby Kart Champion trophy that will hold the pot (kinda made it too big, but I’m going with it). Pretty excited about this.

Well done! I think you just helped sell a ton of these for the next group buy.

Please share the prints for the trophy. :)

We had a good time playing super derby kart. We played for about an hour as we waited for the tourney to end. We ended up placing the ? Blocks on their sides so that the scratched horse amount could be seen better. One guy found a Mario kart sound board and was playing sounds as the game went on.

We also take the scratched cards out first, then deal. However, we added a twist. We deal an even amount of cards to each player. The extra cards go to the trophy (we put the pot into a 3D printed trophy). If the trophy has a winning card, that portion is rolled over into the next game.
