How come? Chips are secure, weight of stacked chips isn't on the chips themselves, plastic certainly isn't fragile/prone to breaking. How come people don't seek them out?
 
Some people seek them out. They stack very nicely, that's for sure. I think most people prefer something translucent rather than opaque.

Paulson has trays like this, too. I've only ever owned 3 of them, and 1 was broken.
 
I love them but they’re hard to find sadly. I wish I had more!

I gave a bunch of them away last year. I didn’t like them because as stated, they don’t display well.
 
I like them a bit more for long term storage I think. Better than cardboard boxes, you can at least see inside of them a bit.

Also, I like that they turn effectively into two trays each.
 
I have a half-dozen or so, and most arrived broken. Not a fan.
