I have over 1K white Nintendo chips, or oil can mold as they've been called.
Pretty nice chips, but no recess to inlay.
I picked up a used drill press and ordered a 7/8 end mill bit, a simple jig and I'll be ready to go.
After milling I will try some gear labels, probably order a sample set.

Haven't decided on .25s or $1, we play mostly low limit cash.

Might try to dye a few, but I'm skeptical how they will hold up to shuffling.

Here's a rough mock up with a label from Gears website,

Finally got my chip milling station set up
$40 drill press
$8 bit from China

Ran a couple test chips tonight
Turned out pretty good, we will see if the bit gets through a 1000 chips!

Label samples on the way from Gear
Gotta get some artwork going too.

I'm gonna mill 200, and then dye before labeling

I'm thinking a periwinkle blue for the $1

Probably leave some whites for .25's, or maybe go yellow or pink?

Thought you were actually going to go Nintendo themed lol

Nah, gonna come up with something that will look good in the man cave.

Already have some Nevada Jack skulls, or I'd do a western theme.

Maybe golf related, my other addiction.

Oh dogs, yeah I like dags, I like caravans better.

Can't wait to see what you come up with.

I like a kinda minimalist feel.
Should I try some circular text around the label border maybe?

My jig got off center somehow
Time to dye some and finalize artwork
