I have a set of what seem to be relatively rare chips in that single chips only come up for auction a couple times a year. For those wondering- De Anza Hotel. I have some pictures in the gallery somewhere on here.

On eBay, single $5s have gone for around $10 - if the listing even gets noticed. No idea about the $25s.

Obviously selling them all there’s no chance they’re going for $10 per, but I don’t know what I should price them at as a group if I were to sell them.

Looks like they are elephant and crown mold asms? If that's the case, even with a rarer casino set like these I couldn't see them going for more than 2 or 3 dollars per chip, Maybe less.

You can buy custom e&c mold chips through cpc.

Best way to sell them might be to put them up as an auction, with the starting bid being the least amount you would take for them.

I concur....
The problem with chips like that is that it will be extremely difficult, if not impossible, to build an entire set unless what you have is already playable. From the info you have given us, I don't know if it is or not. I looked in the Gallery and I see the chips, but was not able to tell what sort of breakdown you have. I see $5's & $25's but no other denominations. Do you have any $1's or $100's? You can do an auction, but you probably won't get much activity. I am probably not the best person to price things as I think in terms of what I would pay and not in terms of what others are willing to bid up. One way to think of it is lets say you were considering buying what you have, what would YOU pay for them?

For me personally, no matter how much I like the chips, I am not buying old chips that have no sentimental value and that are hard to build an entire playable set with and don't have much of a following. Seems like chips that I would be soon selling and will be a difficult sell for me down the road.

Thanks, about what I expected. I always wanted to make at least some E&C $1s to go with these but life stays in the way of using the chips I do have.

Feel like I’d wind up with at least some interesting singles if I brought a few barrels to a convention.
