Currently in the planning stages for a new tourney set.

Ignore the inlays.

Awaiting a simplified inlay set from my cash set.

This likely will be final two options.

Lot of DayGlo colors.

Main difference is regular pink vs. Dayglo pink on the yellow chip.

Here are the initial inlay design ideas.

I like the white background.

I like the simpler look for the tourney set.

My current favorite is the curved The Dugout and south side on top, and tournament at bottom.

I like the simplified diamond in background for both sides of the chip with the red denominations.

White background on all.

Any opinions.

Another option is to color match the chip, though I think the white background has a classic look to it.

I like black inlays, but your last version is very nice, accomodating both the diamond and a curved inscription.
Of course, gray diamond plus curved inscription could be done on a black background too.
Again, most chips (whith the exception of the yellow one) are rather on the darker side of the spectrum, so white is very reasonable.

I think regular red and Dayglo pink contrasts the best with standard red darker and Dayglo pink lighter.

Unfortunately the position of the curved text hides the top portion of the baseball diamond enough that you can't tell that's what it is. Also, because of the muted tones in your first three denoms, I feel the dayglo chips will overpower the rest.

Inlay design is going to push the curved to the top and bottom more to open up the diamond better.

What makes me want the Dayglo tiger for the $5000 chip is I want that orange to pop. My current tourney set has standard orange and maroon and the chip is boring.

In terms of the yellow and pink, my current set has that combo and it is nice. Since there will be more pink in this one, I want to lighten up that pink to not clash with the blurple/red.

Light green/green
Charcoal/Black
Blurple/Red
Yellow/Pink
Orange/Maroon
All standard colors.

I actually prefer brighter colours over the muted tones. It's just the first denoms are very muted especially the 100 and 500 and then all of a sudden you've got major pop.

I actually think the Blurple pops much better than. A standard purple or lavender.

I think the green and black are muted but they are lower denominations and other than changing the design from 1/2 pie to something else, there isn’t much to brighten them up.

I brighten things slightly
Standard Green and Dayglo Green.
Standard Yellow and Dayglo Pink.

Dark green clashes too much with the black/charcoal.

Current design.

Green/Dayglo Green
Black/Gray
Blurple/Red
Yellow/Dayglo Pink
Dayglo Tiger/Maroon

Edit - Found out from CPC that it doesn't matter which retro color is used on the pie chips, it is still and extra 13 cents per. This will make my mind up a lot easier then.

For anyone with experience, would anyone recommend 25k chips for the tournament set, maybe like 10 of them.

My tournament I was running Saturday night ended up with such high blinds, that the 25k chip would have come into play.

I may be able to edit my CPC order

It doesn’t hurt to have a couple. Especially if you want to run deeper stacks.
but plaques are nice too for that unique touch.

I had a
Which is the current breakdown, for how many players?
30k 15 minute blind tournament. 16 players

8 Green - $200
18 Black - $1800
12 Purple - $6000
7 Yellow - $7000
3 Orange - $15000

Set breakdown is 150, 400, 250, 150, 50.

Final 4 players got to level 18 (25k-50k off top of my head).

150 Green
350 Black
250 Purple

Was thinking of taking 10 off the black and adding 10 25k chips

current color idea for 25k. Ignore the inlay

Strange starting stacks.
Very deep anyway, so a T25K might not hurt, especially if re-buys / add-ons are envisaged.

No rebuys.

If I had anymore than 16, I would have probably dropped to a 20k stack.

OK. Going to email CPC shortly to make sure I can still add.

160 green
320 black
250 blurple
180 yellow
80 orange
10 chocolate
