Hello all, long time poker player and chip collector in college. After selling everything over 8 years ago (to pay for said school), I wanted to get back into collecting, trying to rebuild my old Paulson set and then saw the prices! Wow what I have missed (I think I bought my last set for around $1ish/chip). Regardless, I wanted to get back into building the collection and figure what better place to start than here!

Ha yes I had bought on chiptalk back in the day and home poker tourney before...had flipped a few bud jones sets. Now I am more interested in being a buyer than a seller however looks like prices have gone crazy...

Greetings! What chips did you have before? Are you playing primarily cash vs. tourney?

I had bud jones from a casino in Everett, WA (biggest set 10K + chips I think), then for my personal sets I had casino de isthmus Paulsons (the newer set, not the originals) and my last big buy was custom ASMs (all sold). Recently, I got the itch and bought around 8K Drift on Inn chips off craigslist last year which is a casino in Shoreline WA (ceramic, nothing special and for around $0.3 a chip). However we back in the day had huge tournaments so I also held onto our tournament chips (maybe 5-10K or so Verenetis) and I have 2Kish Archetypes still from our cash games.

Here is current build except for Verenti ceramics which I keep in storage...

Sorry meant to say 5K drift on inn!

The Bud Jones I sold were called the Big Apple...bought them on CL (if you told me it was 10-50K I would believe it, its been so long I cant remember how many) but basically bought the entire casino's stash haha
