Hi, I am new to PCF and very new to chips and the game in general. I am excited to start building a collection little by little. Anyone have any advice on a good beginner set of chips with $300 being the max to spend right now.

Typically, you'll want to figure out which stakes you plan to play, then you can estimate a 'bank', and then you can figure out the breakdown of chips you need to run a game. Then you can plan which chips are in your budget accordingly.
Do you plan to have a .25c / .50c game, or a 1/2, a 2/5? What game do you typically play? Holdem?
