Drying out and surveying the damage...
Just purchased my first set and after further research have found myself here. Love the game and excited to broaden my setup!
Welcome to the forum. You might want to post in the New Members and Introductions forum https://www.pokerchipforum.com/forums/pcf-introductions-and-check-ins.7/ . You are more likely to get feedback and welcomes there with your initial post, especially as you aren't asking a specific question.

Also tell us more about yourself. We're a friendly, but curious group.

Welcome!

All you wanted to know about how to run a home games and more, is available in these pages. Feel free to use the search function for everything from blind structures to how many chips you need.

If you can't find what you are looking for, just ask. There is probably over 1000 years of hosting experience here. It's unlikely that someone doesn't have the answer, and it's usually the right one!

Welcome! Do you mostly play tournaments or cash games? or a bit of both? What set did you get?
I mostly play cash games with friends and played just a few hours in vegas.
I purchased a set of casino royale chips for my first starter

And thank you!

Sure! Early 30’s, grew up in a farm town where I got into Texas Holdem with friends, played college baseball as a shortstop and now a manager at a corporate company looking to host some buddies on the weekends friendly games. I watched some videos on some basics on hosting and in the process saw this forum mentioned many times. Thought this would be good for pointers, community, and getting introduced to different chips. I can see how people want to collect!

Well, enjoy the ride my friend!
